Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences

Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences consists of a core programme and two specialisations. The entire course has been structured in close collaboration with industry. It offers targeted coverage of mainstream subjects and ample time to achieve real results in the thesis. The performance criteria are high and the workload is heavy.

Convergence Course
As the incoming students tend to come from different backgrounds, a six-week convergence course is organised at the start of the MSc to ensure that they are all optimally prepared. This course is tailored to individual needs. Students with a technical background and no previous knowledge of geology or petroleum engineering are very welcome.

The teaching is challenging and the reading list extensive. There is frequent interaction with professors and tutors and a dedicated team of specialists on hand to help students achieve their goals.
