Sustainable Enterprises: Only an expense for companies?

The lecture first discusses the role of the engineer in the company and in particular in sustainable design. Then different values of sustainability for the company will be presented including the people-planet-profit principle and the principle of corporate social responsibility. The main idea of the lecture is that a company’s societal and economical responsibilities are more than just making a profit. |
