2.2.3 Case study: Owner of a wind farm

For this case study:

First, the situation is characterized. This is followed by a brief video in which two actors act out a situation. Finally, you are asked the question: describe the smart command and control strategy that is being applied here?

There are plans for an offshore wind farm. But there is a lot of opposition to the plans as they are seen as a potential blot on the seascape. A wind farm owner has been through a multi-issue process with the stakeholders involved. Seven of the ten stakeholders are now reasonably satisfied. Two still oppose the plans. One stakeholder’s position is unclear. Watch the video in which the owner of the wind farm speaks.
