3.3.1 Cultural dimensions

Course subject(s) Module 3. Trust in Networks

Rules for business have an important cultural dimension.

We therefore would like you to reflect on these cultural rules in your own context by doing the following:

  1. Click on Show Discussion below, then click on the discussion thread for the continent where you are from (or have worked in the most).
  2. Reply to that discussion thread and note the following:
    • state which country you are from / the country where you have worked the most
    • state 2 rules, which you think exemplify the culture in your country or region, and then give an example of behavior that is not possible for each rule, because it is in conflict with the rule.
  3. Comment on a submission from someone from another continent by asking three questions a leader from the continent might ask.
  4. Comment on a submission from your own continent by stating whether you agree or disagree and why.
