Introducing yourself to an international audience

The purpose of the assignment is expectation management

Learning objective
To know

• One’s own values with respect to classroom behaviour of my students,
• One’s own teaching style and
• The relevance of bringing those values across to potential students.

Results
The result is a number of movies from 2-5 minutes in which the participants present their ways of working. The short movies can be used as online introductory elements for their individual courses prior to the start up of the course. Students are much more aware of the expectations they will be confronted with in the classroom.
