Dr.Ir Wolter Groenevelt
Since 2007 Wolter Groenevelt has been an assistant professor at the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, in the Analysis group. He received his PhD in mathematics at Delft University in 2004, and then spent one year as a researcher at Chalmers University in Gothenburg, Sweden, and two years at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
At Delft University he taught several bachelor courses, such as calculus, linear algebra and differential equations, as well as several masters courses.
Research Interest
My current research concentrates on special functions, (matrix valued) orthogonal polynomials, moment problems, generalized Fourier transforms in relations with mathematical objects such as Lie algebras, quantum groups and affine Hecke algebras.
