Dr. Erik Pruyt

Erik Pruyt is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management of Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands. He received his MSc in Commercial Engineering in 2000 at the Solvay Business School and his PhD at the Faculteit Economische, Sociale en Politieke Wetenschappen & Solvay Business School in January 2007.

At Delft University of Technology, he teaches System Dynamics and Foundations of Engineering and Design. He is also Assistant Professor of Operations Management and Management Science at Vesalius College (Brussels).

Research Interest

System Dynamics Simulation, Multicriteria Decision Analysis, Ethics, Mixing and Matching of Methodologies, Climate change, Transition of energy systems and more particularly of electricity systems, Wind and biomass power, Uncertainty and risk, and National Security.
