In this week’s second lecture another Hyperloop team member, Bas, will discuss the topic of levitation. This is one of the core elements of the Hyperloop concept. More specifically, the advantages and disadvantages of the different concepts and their workings will be considered.

Bas has worked on the propulsion within the Delft Hyperloop team. At the start of the year, he invested his time into looking into levitation concepts, making him an expert for the job. Additionally, Bas is finishing his bachelor’s degree in applied physics, giving him the proper background that he needed for his task in the team.
