Course subject(s) Module 6. Considering digital innovation

In module 6, we focused on the digital components that are crucial for making Smart, Sustainable Cities. In this module we presented Information and data, how we manage, collect, store and make use of them. Besides we described how data is key for a robust data management plan in your SSC plan. Moreover we presented the important relation of data and innovation and AI governance. We described application such as GIS and Blockchain, and finally, we presented two case studies that include digital technologies.

This module was divided into the following sections:

6.3 Some Applications

6.4 Case Studies:

  • Monitoring traffic in Chile;
  • The urban monitoring system in Vicente López district, Argentina.

These case studies close the content of the WHAT section of this course.
