Lecture 6B: The Road Towards Sustainable Airlines

In the last lecture, you learned how noise and annoyance is quantified. Now, we shall move on to the various components of the aircraft’s operation. In this lecture, Bruno Santos will kick off with a discussion on the road towards sustainable airlines by using the airline planning framework. After this, Jacco Hoekstra (whom you might recall from module 2) will talk about sustainable air traffic management and control. Finally, Paul Rolling will bring the discussion back to the ground by talking about sustainable innovations at airports.
