Welcome to Module 4!
In this module we explain strategies for façade detailing, identifying the main structural requirements and addressing movement and tolerances in different façade systems. The plan is to help you experience how general engineering and structural testing of components and systems are developed on working sites.
For this week’s assignment, we’d like us to show us how your façade system is connected to the main structure of the building you are working on, and how it deals with movement and tolerances.
Buckle up, we are off to Frankfurt, Germany!
