This lecture is about trip distribution. This subject focuses on the number of trips from each zone to all other zones,  given the production and attraction per zone. Three trip distribution methods are discussed:

• Method 1. Analogy based
• Method 2. Extrapolation or growth
• Method 3. Choice modelling

The analogy based method incorporates the gravity model, direct demand model singly and double constrained model. Within this frame, entropy based models are discussed briefly and distribution functions are introduced.
