Click behavior and visitor information
TU Delft tracks general data by using cookies. This is what we do for statistical analysis of visits and clicks on the website, which we optimize the operation of the website. Of course, your privacy is of great importance. The collected data is therefore anonymous as much as possible.
Google Analytics
To be able to do the above mentioned analysis, TU Delft uses Google Analytics, where your clicks on our site are tracked and information is obtained, including the address of your computer (IP address), sent to Google and stored on their servers in the United States.
Google uses this information to track how the TU Delft website is used to provide reports about us here and to be able to offer its advertisers about the effectiveness of their campaigns. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if Google is legally required, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. TU Delft has no influence whatsoever on this.
Facebook, Twitter and other social media integrations
TU Delft regularly uses so-called Twitter feeds, Facebook integration and embedded videos (YouTube among others) on its websites. The codes to provide these functions is provided by Facebook, Twitter and YouTube itself. This code sets include a cookie to make the part work properly.
