Exploring the hidden dimensions of teacher/student roles

The purpose of this assignment is to learn more about the perception of your own students at your own institution.

Learning Objectives

  • being aware of the different¬† expectations with respect to the international classroom
  • being able to deal with different views and create an atmosphere of inclusion

The interview results are discussed in small groups. Emerging from the groups is a general profile of the students attending classes. It is deliberated within the group whether teaching behaviour should be adapted to the group and whether certain convictions should be dealt with differently/similarly as before.
