In the first lecture of the course David Abbink discusses the set-up of the course. He starts with an introduction of himself and continues with the learning objectives of the course. The reason the class is taught and the teaching goal are discussed on the basis of a few examples and the lecturer concludes the lecture with a comprehensive summary of the course set-up. During the lecture multiple assignments are mentioned but only the first assignments is suitable for OpenCourseWare. This assignment can be found in the Exercises section.
