Haptic Applications II

In the following lecture Jeroen Wildenbeest discusses the first part of the Haptic Applications II lecture. First, he discusses the topic of robots performing human tasks like opening doors and why that is so difficult to achieve. Next, he discusses the importance of haptic feedback in various parts of the Human-in-the-Loop Telemanipulation.

Haptic Shared Control in Telemanipulation

In the following lecture Henri Boessenkool discusses the second part of the Haptic Applications II lecture. He introduces the term “Haptic Shared Control” and explains what this means. The research behind the principle is presented and various examples are given to explain its use in real applications.
