06. Shared Control
In the following guest lecture David Abbink will further discuss the subject of haptic shared control. He first starts with a short recap of the previous lectures about haptic shared control and continues with Roseborough’s dilemma about the use of automation. After discussing the degrees of automation that can be implemented, some examples from the automotive domain are given as well as examples from the group in Delft. Some drawbacks of haptic shared control are stated and the lecturer finishes the lecture with the results of a study about haptic feedback while steering.
