In the second module of this course we will look into the different components that are present in a microgrid. We start with the distribution and transmission components.

Electronic interfaces are crucial parts of microgrids that allow different electrical components (e.g., renewables, loads, storage) to work together. In this video, we will discuss the power electronic interfaces and the general scheme of the transmission and distribution.  You will then learn to build up a DC, AC, or hybrid AC & DC transmission and distribution using these interfaces.
