Welcome to Module 2 on the litosphere. In this module you will find out how rocks deform at variable pressures and temperatures and will be able to identify the structures developed by rocks during deformation (fractures, faults and folds).

Part 1 of this module is dedicated to the way rocks deform, their mechanic behavior and the structures they develop during deformation.

In the first video you will learn the basic principles controlling the strength of rocks at different temperatures and pressures.
