2.1.5 Recycling of Plastic Packaging

Course subject(s) Module 2. Recycling of Packaging

As we have seen in the previous episode, plastics are some of the most commonly used materials in packaging and therefore make up a large proportion of all packaging waste. Because of this, we will be using plastics as an example to explore packaging recycling throughout this episode. The video below provides an overview of a closed loop recycling process for plastic packaging in the Netherlands.
