This lecture we will continue working on Functions. We will start by looking at trigonometric functions like the sine, cosine and tangent and their rules of calculations. Now that you know different types of elementary function you learn how to compose them and the operations of scaling and translation. Then you will learn about exponential functions using a savings account as an example. The concept of inverse function will be needed to define logarithms.

The university preview of this lecture is about Fourier series, used for example in acoustics, optics and signal processing.
