Raw materials are crucial for technological progress and wealth. This becomes a geopolitical issue if there are dependencies of supply from other countries. In the first part of the interview, Alessa and Roland Dannreuther talk about resources that were critical in the past, and those that are critical today in the transition away from fossil fuels.
