Additional Optical and Electrical Losses

The Shockley-Queisser limit only takes the spectral mismatch and radiative recombination losses into account, since they are fundamentally required. In reality however, solar cells are subject to additional loss mechanisms. In this video, we will recap the additional optical and electrical losses that occur in solar cells.
