Continuity and Ambipolar Transport Equation

Generation, recombination, and spatial movement all occur in a solar cell at the same time. How can we keep track of all these processes? In this video we introduce the ambipolar transport equation, which is a continuity equation for charge carriers in semiconductors.

Note that the constants C1 and C3 presented in minute 6:15 of the video are missing the variable “L”, while C4 is missing a factor L2.
