Course subject(s)
Module 3 – Water & Waste Water: Water as Basic Need
Wrap up
Throughout this week we have shown two extremes of the water and sanitation spectrum. On one hand the scarce, or even absent, infrastructure in informal settlements in Kampala, and on the other hand, the very sophisticated, dense infrastructure in Amsterdam. Each context showed a rather different water chain, as well as a different role for the citizens and other stakeholders in co-creation innovations in that city.
In the following module we will discuss the examples that we have seen in Kampala and Amsterdam. We will reflect upon the innovations that were presented, as well as on the roles of the various stakeholders that were introduced. We will do this together with Dr. Bas van Vliet and Prof. Ellen van Bueren.
