Why a P-N Junction?
This video kicks off module 4 of the course. In this week Professor Miro Zeman will focus on the p-n junction and its behaviour under different conditions.
In this video we will again look at the basic principles of the photovoltaic effect and we will explain why a junction of p-type and n-type semiconductor materials is necessary for the photovoltaic effect to occur.
