4.1.2 Lecture 4B: The Flying V

Course subject(s) Module 4: Novel Aircraft Design

Lecture 4B: The Flying V

In the last lecture, Maurice Hoogreef mentioned the Flying V, a novel aircraft design that the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering is actively researching. In this lecture, Dr. Roelof Vos will dive deeper into the most energy intensive phase during flight and how novel aircraft designs can reduce the energy requirement during this phase.

Additionally, Dr. Vos will dive deeper into the Flying V and how the design of this aircraft relates back to the discussed design criteria.
