The following video explains the typical features of a project facility agreement, which is the agreement that documents the project loans. Through the years that went into its development, such facility agreements have become an advanced form of lending, where the lender demands extensive rights to monitor the project, to step-in where necessary, and to ensure that cash flows follow a pre-designed governance structure (typically called a payment waterfall, or -cascade).
