You will be explained the principles of carbonate sedimentology and will understand how the two main types of carbonate systems, ramps and isolated platforms, are structured.
Having spent quite some time on terrigenous rocks, which derive from the erosion of relief, the time has now come for you to work on a very different, but also very important, type of rock namely carbonates.
In this video clip you will learn the basic principles of carbonate sedimentology.
