With the linear aircraft life cycle explained, it is now time to look into the envisioned circular aircraft life cycle. Implementing a circular life cycle starts with changes in the first phase of the aircraft life: the Design phase.

In this lecture, Dr. Parlevliet will explain how we can design while taking into account sustainability aspects, with the main focus being on weight.
