5.2 Behavioral economics: an overview
Course subject(s)
5. The Human Factor
In this lecture, students will learn the basics of behavioral economics. This lecture will be thoroughly interdisciplinary because theories and evidence of behavioral economics come from many disciplines. In particular, we will give an overview of prospect theory which draws concepts from social psychology, which helps explain human behavior in a way utility theory was unable to do.
