5.3.1 Cosimulation for energy system analysis
Course subject(s)
5. Multi-carrier Grid Integration
“Let’s take flight simulation as an example. If you’ re trying to train a pilot, you can simulate almost the whole course. You don’ t have to get in an airplane until late in the process.”
-Roy Romer, former American politician
Simulation is a really important tool in many fields. It allows you to practice, test, or observe different circumstances than normal or it can be used to predict the future. A special type of simulation is a co-simulation, which is combined simulation of different domains. This lecture will explain what a co-simulation is, and it will discuss different aspects.
