5. Structural concepts
In lecture 5 Mr. Sinke will investigate the concept that holds aircraft together: their structure.
In this lecture Mr. Sinke will investigate how a truss structure handles loads, and how we went from such a truss structure to beam.
In his third clip on structural concepts, Mr. Sinke discusses the type of structures we are most used to seeing today: Aluminium structures.
In his last lecture on structural concepts, Mr. Sinke will discuss a phenomenon encountered only as late as the 1960s: Fatigue.
