Introduction to Diffraction

In the previous section we discussed that when light encounters a macroscopic object, a fraction of the light will be reflected and another fraction transmitted under a refracted angle. However, when light encounters a microscopic object, it shows very different behaviour. This video serves as an introduction to diffraction.
