For protection in microgrids, the so-called 3-S design criteria are used? In this video, we introduce the 3-s criteria, which are sensitivity, selectivity, and speed. For the speed criterion, you will learn about the time-current tripping curve of the relays. You will also learn about a  number of other relevant features for protection in microgrids.
