IV. Behaviour of Structures under Seismic Load
Steel structures in Groningen are not designed to resist earthquakes. Prof Milan Veljkovic outlines in this lecture the basic concepts for adapting existing steel structures. This lecture shows the relevant parts of Eurocode 3 and Eurocode 8 and explains the ductility of steel structures.
