Co-decision Making with the Adaptation Support Tool

So, in the previous example we saw that it is indeed important to think about whom to include in a co-creation process. When key stakeholders are missing, solutions may be created that do not address the root of a problem.

Now let’s have a look at another example: the Adaptation Support Tool (AST). Dr. Frans van de Ven will introduce you to this tool that was developed to support workshops in which stakeholders in an urban redevelopment process collaboratively create conceptual plans that strengthen climate resilience of an existing urban area. The AST aims to facilitate knowledge exchange between urban planners, landscape architects, water managers, civil engineers, local stakeholders and other experts, to ensure that the co-creation process results in successful and effective solutions.
