Important announcement

Dear visitor,

Please note that this OpenCourseWare platform will be replaced at the end of 2026 by a new platform (under the same url ocw.tudelft.nl).

Courses and their contents that are currently available the platform will partly be migrated. URL’s for this content will change and content might be unavailable for some time. In addition, some courses will not be available anymore.

If you are linking to specific courses on this platform (for instance for your students), please take timely measures to avoid problems with access. Possible actions are:

  • Download the materials to your local platform (laptop, server)
  • For educators only (including TU Delft lecturers): Contact us at ocw@tudelft.nl and inform us what course you are using in what context (institute, program, period of use, number of students). We will research (in collaboration with the authors of the course) and decide if we will migrate the course, and if yes, can supply you with a new url.

Thank you.

9.3.2 Panel Sessions II

Course subject(s) Module 9 – Synthesis: The Dynamics of Co-creation

Relevance for Learners and Practitioners

In this final panel discussion, we will look at the relevance of the MOOC. In the first place, for you the ‘learners’, but also to different groups of stakeholders. Many of you may be affiliated to a particular stakeholder group and may have attended the MOOC from the perspective of a (future) scientist, a member of an NGO, a government official, or as a company employee. With this in mind, we will reflect on the relevance of the contents of the MOOC for specific groups of practitioners.

In a way, we will change our perspective in this video: Were we continuously emphasized the role of citizens amongst other stakeholders in urban sustainability transitions, we will now look the other way around: from these other stakeholders to citizens and co-creation. What does the plethora of forms of co-creation that passed by imply for scientists, businesses, NGOs, and governments in cities around the world? We will discuss this topic with the same people who were involved in the previous panel: dr. Sigrid Wertheim-Heck, Erik Heijmans, Ilse Voskamp, dr. Bas van Vliet, Walter Fraanje, and prof. Gert Spaargaren.
