9. Special Vehicles
A quick question: Do you still remember the three principles of flight, introduced by Mr. Hoekstra in his first lecture? (Take a moment to recall them before watching the next clip).
Basically we have treated only a very limited selection of “flying vehicles” making use of these principles: Balloons, airships and airplanes.
In his second clip on special vehicles, Mr. Hoekstra discusses an important and specialised group of vehicles: helicopters.
In his third clip on special vehicles, Mr. Hoekstra will go over what we will for now call the ‘exotic vehicles’: the fast and the furious, making use of extreme techniques.
In the final clip of module A, Mr. Hoekstra will discuss what probably is the dream of every aeronautical engineer (what would that be?) and will consider the future of aeronautical engineering.
