In this lecture, prof. Van Dijk introduces the structure of the course and the lectures on Drinking water.
This lecture deals with the general aspects of designing drinking water infrastructure,
from the demand in houses back to the capacity of storage reservoirs and treatment plants.
Also issues about the costs for construction and operation are addressed.
