Examples of Products Made from Wastewater

Course subject(s) 5 Resource Shortage

The next video was made by the Energy & Raw Materials Factory that was initiated by the Dutch Waterboards. In this initiative, waterboards want to use wastewater as a source of valuable resources like renewable energy, raw materials and clean water. Wastewater is no longer perceived as a waste but as a resource flow full of resources. As a result, wastewater treatment plants will become production factories and no longer be waste-treatment facilities. You will see a number of examples of products that can be made from wastewater. The website of the Energy & Raw Materials Factory contains more information about this initiative.
