Currently, resource consumption in cities is throughput-orientated, making cities hubs for resource consumption.  At the same time, the availability of our natural resources decreasing. The world and especially cities have to find ways to reduce, recover and reuse resources. The focus of this week is on a few selected, interrelated resources:  water, nutrients, carbon and food. Throughout the week, the relationship between these resources and cities will be explored from the perspective of the different themes. Our goal is that you gain an understanding of how resource loops could be closed.
