In the next video, Arjan van Timmeren will introduce this week’s challenge on Socio-economic Change. He explains that we must look beyond connectivity based solely on technology, transportation and trade.  Instead, we should find integrated solutions, working on smaller scales.  This includes looking at the hinterlands surrounding urban areas and their communities and respecting the limits of the natural environment.
