Before you start this Unit, you may want to review the Pre-knowledge Mathematics unit on Statistics in order to review the concepts of histogram, probability density function, mean and variance, normal distribution.

In this video we will elaborate on the uncertainty in measurements; different types of measurement errors will be distinguished and it will be explained how these errors affect either the precision or accuracy.
