One of the biggest challenges for the large scale intergration of PV is the mismatch between production and consumption. This mismatch requires large scale energy storage. One of the most convenient ways to store energy large scale, is chemically, in the form of liquid fuels. Researchers are therefore looking into efficient ways to create a fuel by using sunlight. In this video you will learn about these solar to fuel approaches.
