Before we start our discussion of the important thin film depostion tools and techniques, we will look at some important concepts  that are in principle unique for thin film technologies. We will start with the transparent conductive oxide, or TCO. In this video you will learn about the function of a TCO layer. We will also discus the superstrate and substrate deposition orders.
