Teacher-Student roles

Course subject(s) Day 1: Teacher-Student roles

Exploring the hidden dimension of teacher/student roles

In day 1 the intention is to find out about definitions of culture, personal values and expectations of stakeholders involved in higher education.

  • Culture can be defined at different levels, at which levels are we going to discuss culture and what classroom culture do we find important?
  • Which groups do you belong to, and which values belonging to a certain group do you prioritise when making decisions in a teaching context?
  • What do we know about expectations of International/local staff/students? And what is the impact on classroom behaviour?
