In the next video, Arjan van Timmeren introduces and explains the concepts of Urban Metabolism and Ecosystem Services.
Urban Metabolism is about the dynamics of cities,  beyond ‘traditional’ mobility and the relationships between built and uncultivated environments, in relation to  Scarcity,  Carrying capacity,  and  Conservation of Mass and Energy. The concept of Ecosystem Services focuses on four main categories: Regulating, Culture, Supporting and Provisioning.
