Welcome to the first module of the course “Designing a climate-neutral world”!

Sections

The content of this module is split into five sections with a video. The sections are:

    • Brief history of climate negotiations
    • The Paris Agreement
    • Emission targets
    • National policies: sectoral and cross-sectoral
    • Policy maker in action: interview with Jos Delbeke (Former Director General for Climate Action at the European Commission)

We have prepared additional materials about the presented topics.

Learning outcomes

The first module addresses a variety of topics on climate negotiations.

After completion of module 1, you will be able to understand how international climate agreements work.
