This first module is all about the introduction of the framework of the 4A’s: Access, Availability, Affordability & Acceptability. In the coming modules each A will be further explained, the central concept in this module is the total framework.

At the end of the module you will be able to describe and recognize continuous change in energy systems, in terms of balancing the 4A’s of energy services. In the three sections of this first two introductions will be given. Secondly, through a case study the concepts of this module will be illustrated and lastly you will be able to explore the concept of a Strategic Action Plan.
